Review on Long-Lasting Sticky Adhesive Replacement: VHB 3M Dots Double-Sided Pad Solution by Matthew Baltimore

So far so good with protecting my Vantrue X1 DVR which doesn't stay connected for more than a week or two. The "dot" adhesive circle is smaller than the attachment's suction cup, but thick enough to fill the suction cup cavity and create a secure attachment, but summer isn't here yet, which will be a real test. There is a large 2" 3M VHB RP25 round "dot" you can try. Because this adhesive dot sticks so well (so far) I installed the dash cam behind the rearview mirror of our Mazda CX5. The windshield mask is usually too rough than the suction cup could stick to it, but no suction cup is used.
