, I have experience installing this type of strip. I like that the thin stripe profile matches the shape of many headlights. But not all headlights. they only flex a certain amount during assembly. The tape is useless in my opinion. I would also use rubber glue to seal the control box opening so it doesn't open in wet conditions like rain or a car wash. When you buy, prepare your own roll of 3M double-sided tape or cement adhesive. "Locktight" is a good glue where you can only make small drops in the places where the strip rises from the headlight. Do not use large amounts as the adhesive reaction can cloud the headlight surface if applied too much. Not a quick install, but with these tips, you should be happy with the results. Installed on Nissan Maxima 2002.
