Selection of the best catalytic converters and spare parts

So nothing against Revain, they were great! The product was delivered on time. Both times. The manifold was fine too, good quality and very good welds around the converter body, it fitted perfectly and the heat shield and anything else attached to the manifold bolted on with no problems. HOWEVER, Dorman has a problem with the packaging department. The first box came with no installation kit, which is a bag of screws and studs and a donut ring to connect the intermediate pipe. Also, the manifold gasket was in a ball at the bottom of the box. Revane sent out a new order the next day without question. Hooray, Revane, you saved me a lot of time! The second box had a bag of screws and the gasket was in good condition, wrapped in plastic with a cardboard backing, but it was a gasket for a 4 cylinder engine! Seriously Dorman? Didn't your parts mechanic notice there was a five-cylinder header in the box and put the right gasket in there? Sad sad. The supplied gasket is of cheap quality anyway, so it turned out to be a good mistake in the end. If you buy this header, ditch the included gasket and spend $15 to get a genuine GM gasket at the dealer. It's all metal and that's what GM wanted to use. I hope I never have to change my converter again, but if I did I would most likely buy this product again.
