
A bit pricey but saves a lot of frustration when working alone (no need to try both ends of the 2x4 at the same time). I also think the brackets indicate that the 2x4 is at right angles to the 4x4, which can be a problem if you want the 2x4 to be parallel to ground level, which is likely on a slope. (2x4s will likely look "staggered" compared to one solid line. This may be ok depending on personal preference.) Note that the bracket has more holes than screws. All this can be indicated in the instructions, which, of course, I did not read. Good for renovations but too expensive for a new fence.
