Easy to use but a little expensive.

Great product. not very thick to support any real weight. but what is it for and how should it be used. Ideal! It is flush mounted so that a picket fence can be mounted over it. Don't use screws to fill each hole (5 per bracket), you will run out of screws! Thicker and stronger braces are cheaper. Reasons for 4 starts instead of 5: Number of screws. Stop thin clamp and other use. Price.

Pros
  • βœ… ECONOMY KIT: 10 brackets and 40 screws to quickly and easily connect a 2" x 4" solid fence between rail and post
Cons
  • Expensive

My fence fell.

This was a case of "Teeth OK but time for gums". The support boards on the back of the slats are rotten. I removed the slats between the posts and the rotten boards. I added supports, put in new treated wood planks, bolted and replaced the slats. I bought an extra plank to replace the shrinkage after these years. I finished work this morning before it started raining. I'm happy.

Pros
  • βœ… INCREASED DURABILITY: The brackets are made of 20 gauge galvanized steel for a strong connection between fence rail and post | Corrosion resistant zinc plating
Cons
  • Not sure

Ideal for repairing sections with fairly upright 4WD vehicles.

A bit pricey but saves a lot of frustration when working alone (no need to try both ends of the 2x4 at the same time). I also think the brackets indicate that the 2x4 is at right angles to the 4x4, which can be a problem if you want the 2x4 to be parallel to ground level, which is likely on a slope. (2x4s will likely look "staggered" compared to one solid line. This may be ok depending on personal preference.) Note that the bracket has more holes than screws. All this can be indicated in the…

Pros
  • βœ… SAVE TIME AND EFFORT: Eliminates nailing, angle screws and pin cutting | No need to buy screws as they are included in this repair kit
Cons
  • Doubtful
