People love sound here, but that's okay. Loud hum and brown tones from big-budget action movies don't come through this speaker at all. Whatever subwoofer is connected to it, in my opinion it is rather weak. The highs are too high and there is not enough bass. With some adjustments to my TV's EQ I made it a little better, but still ok. I have a better speaker that I will use when I'm watching a big action movie, but for everyday use it's great because of the remote control. If you have the money, just spend the extra $20 and buy a better speaker if you can.
