This worked for about a month and then started working in 3 seconds. I read the brochure, googled some troubleshooting tips but nothing helped. I bought Asurion insurance for it, contacted them, they referred me back to Black and Decker and said it was still under manufacturer warranty. I contacted the number they gave me and it was an automatic nightmare. I just don't have time to spend all day looking for a $40 sweeper that I used once a day. That's why I spend a few bucks more on insurance. Very disappointed with this product. Basically, I spent forty dollars renting a sweeper for a month and threw it away. It worked for a month, worked perfectly. It has been used on kitchen tiles and laminate floors for daily sweeping between general cleaning. Ideal for this purpose.
