My mother had something similar but the rubber grip hasn't been used in over 10 years. (That didn't stop me from using it) but I ended up buying a new one and it was awful and not strong so I got mad and went to Revain and bought this one. THE BEST THING! I've had it for a long time and it still looks brand new and I use it more than 3 times a week. Put it in the dishwasher and be on your way. First thing best, it has a flat bottom so it mashes my smooth potatoes perfectly with no chunks. Second, it's so durable! Will be telling all my foodie friends and family!
