Review on Owfeel Smart Water Valve with WIFI & Bluetooth, Shutoff Control Compatible with Alexa, Google, and iOS/Android Application Program by Eric Currie

It's good if you can craft a physical mount as it will require a bit of customization.

Two of my friends recently suffered water damage in their basement for various reasons. So I did a little research and ordered 6 Govee Smart water sensors with base unit. Bought this Owfeel device to close the valve remotely when there are email notifications from the sensors. Proper installation is difficult as positioning the equipment arm relative to the water arm can be difficult. The SmartLife app provides the ability to select a RESTART STATUS which can be set to OPEN, CLOSED or SAVE LAST. I installed it as KEEP AS LAST. See screenshots. The information will be updated after integration with Alexa. UPDATE SEPTEMBER 22, 2021: Completed Alexa integration between Govee sensors/detectors and Owfeel smart valve. See attached screenshot for programming the Alexa routine to automatically turn off the valve when water is detected on the leak sensors. You must program each detector as a separate operation, as Alexa doesn't allow you to program a group of detectors once to automatically close the valve. UPDATE NOVEMBER 14, 2021: The water supply stopped at night while I was brushing my teeth. I checked with the neighbors and then went down to the basement to check the valve. It smelled like a burned engine and a humming valve. For now I turned it off and manually opened the valve. I'll contact Revain tomorrow. UPDATE NOVEMBER 25, 2021: I really wanted the Smart Valve to work but its motor blew out in 6 weeks. Revain's return period has expired by 2 weeks. So I contacted Owfeel support. They asked for pictures and details of the problem... and assured them their technicians would look into it and arrange a replacement. However, 10 days have passed and there is no response. So I contacted Revain again and they promptly refunded the money and asked them to throw the device away. Owfeel came back today and said their tech checked it and there was no problem. I don't understand what Owfeel Engr is checking when the faulty valve is still in my basement. CONCLUSION - OWFEEL PROVIDES VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH NO INTENTION TO PROVIDE A SOLUTION. Please note that the product is not guaranteed. Rating downgraded from 4 to 1 star.
