Gosh, I was completely satisfied with my Dayton Audio B652 Airs. I mean the Dayton speakers are impressive for the price! So these RB42s arrived yesterday. They are tiny, my hand covers the front. so hard! I tapped it with my knuckles. almost no reverb, my eyebrows went up a bit. I hooked up a couple of 100w mono blocks to it and played a phone through them. Since then I haven't stopped listening to them. So I find the price (starting price) artificially low, they have an incredibly rich sound and a great soundstage. I've never thought of speakers as entertainment. These speakers are just plain fun! I'm making a cheap phonograph system using a $100 Audio-Technica turntable and a Dayton Audio AP150 amplifier. The turntable and speaker combo is still amazing. I forgot how records sound! I'm not usually interested in compressed music and such, but I feel like I live in a box. My mouth literally dropped open as I played Al Green's Love and Happiness. These speakers will be a great success. At this price they are game changers. They are already sold out again! Mikka, if you're listening, I'll buy your first RB42 center channel!
