Vivay Water Shoes for Kids Boys Girls Barefoot Beach Shoes Aqua Socks Quick Dry Lightweight Toddler Swim Pool ShoesMy youngest has been getting hand me downs from my older two, unfortunately the water shoes my older ones took such a beating that my daughter needed a new pair. Looking over and comparing these shoes to my older son's water shoes, this water shoes has a few things that I like better about them. The removable insole is mesh so it doesn't hold as much water in it. The bottom actually has drain holes where water comes out faster. The top breathable mesh also lets water drain out really quickly after they get wet. I took a side by side picture of the insole from my older child's water shoe and this pair and you can see how this one is made of mesh allowing water to just pass right through. We have been taking these to our local zoo where they have a water play area and the water just streams out of these shoes so there isn't that squishy water feel after she walks into the water. These shoes also have a velcro on top presumably to make it more or less fitted but it doesn't work well. If I try to use the velcro, it bunches the fabric at the top making it uncomfortable.Overall we are very happy with these shoes. There is enough grip on the treads for when it is wet and it doesn't retain water for long.
