This tool works well for filling a 318 LA engine. Simply run the pump for a few minutes to start the engine. But there's a simple fix for this: use the oil pump drive to compare the length it takes to press the inflator tool in, then place a piece of tape where the inflator tool should be at the bottom when the inflator tool is fully seated . where is the brass bushing.
