I used it on a Dodge 360/5.9 liter engine to lubricate it with oil before starting. The engine sat in a 1947 Dodge project truck for 8 years without running. I changed the oil and filter, pulled out the distributor and cam mechanism, and put the rod in. I connected it to a cordless screwdriver and started it. I got an oil pressure of 60psi and held it at that level for 2 minutes. The truck is declared and works without problems

It is long enough to fill the oil pump as well as a sufficient number of edges to engage the oil pump. Its stylish design is just the icing on the cake.
