About 8 months ago my husband decided to get a red coonhound puppy without thinking that this puppy's life will end. Fast forward to me trying to exercise him every day while raising a one year old and working at the same time. We have a backyard with no fence, so you can see how frustrating it was to keep it in the yard without one of those garden wires. We had one but got rid of it when it almost broke the leg of one of our sons! As you can see from my photos I only use level 1 for the vibration and shock buttons, why? Because I never use the shock button. The vibrator works very well on the first level to tell our crazy pup to come to me. In just a week our pup learned that if he crosses a fence line in the woods and his collar vibrates, he'll run straight to me whether I'm on the back porch or anywhere in the house! He has learned that he must find me immediately! I use a level 2 vibration when he jumps on the counter to steal food. I use the talk button when he comes on the counter or causes problems with our cat. "Then no!" And so far so good! He's very brave and climbs onto the counter right in front of me while I'm sitting on the couch thinking I'm not looking. So when I press the talk button, he runs away tail tucked in like I yelled at him! When that doesn't work I use vibration but for now it works wonders! This collar has saved me so much time, migraines and my voice! Thank you!
