I had to replace an old triple that I had converted to a single with a guard because the pedal thread was snapped and beyond repair. I used the red version of these in a previous baby build and they looked perfect. Just got another 175mm kit to put on my 29er hardtail matched to 1x with impact protection and it's perfect. I had to use bottom bracket washers to get the crank splines in place, but I used an old, higher quality XTR bottom bracket that I already had installed. For the price, this crank really can't be beat.
