Plastic screw holding the crank loose

I wasn't aware that the plastic screw holding the non-drive crank was loose which caused the crank arm to sort of come loose and fall off the bike on the way back The grocery store. I love these spinners. I bought two more sets - one for another project and one for my nephew's bike. Can the company send me a new stop pin - the one that attaches to the spindle?

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

Lack of quality control when reselling used items.

I bought the used version of this item as new. When it arrived the bottom bracket and left hand cranks were not what was advertised. Revain didn't post my first review and said it didn't apply because it was about the packaging. Complete lie. Revain does NOT perform quality control on resold items. Someone obviously bought this crank and bottom bracket new, took the correct parts and replaced them with used junk parts, and then returned them. Which Revane then sold me.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Good value for money. Flexible setting.

I had to replace an old triple that I had converted to a single with a guard because the pedal thread was snapped and beyond repair. I used the red version of these in a previous baby build and they looked perfect. Just got another 175mm kit to put on my 29er hardtail matched to 1x with impact protection and it's perfect. I had to use bottom bracket washers to get the crank splines in place, but I used an old, higher quality XTR bottom bracket that I already had installed. For the price, this…

Fantastic crankset Best in Sport

Bought to replace my square bottom bracket. It took me a while to find the 175mm handset but I finally found it. Most here appear to be 170mm long. Time will tell, the bottom bracket nut looks of decent quality. It's definitely a lot softer than the square cone I removed. Crank Hands looked beautiful. I had no problems with her looks. They were very easy to install. I'd like to see at least one aluminum set screw instead of a plastic one, but I just took mine off after everything was screwed…

Pros
  • Great price

Not for BMX with 68 mm bottom bracket and 110 mm rear wheel hub

Tried on a DK Pro BMX frame as a replacement for the cheap tapered cranks that came with it. The chainline was offset slightly to the outside even when no drive side seal was used. I had to put 2 spacers on the non-drive side. This left the cranks off center and the chain still off. creates tension in the chain. I will work but not perfect. I would say a 73mm case on an MTB with a 130mm rear hub would make the best chainring. This DK BMX frame offers plenty of space for the cranks. I really…

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • not reliable

Great starter set of cranks.

Bought this kit to replace the square handle and it worked great. Very smooth and balanced feel. Great set at an affordable price. The only thing you have to worry about is the chain line. This type of bearing sits about a quarter or a half inch outside of the bottom bracket shell, which pushes the chainline outward by the same amount. I changed the drivetrain from 3x24 to 1x8 on a Mongoose Sector frame and thankfully the chain line was still perfect. However, a similar change to the hardtail…
