They are smaller than expected and much brighter. Since they are square, they must be aligned so that they are exactly parallel to the walls; Otherwise they appear crooked to the eye (and they will). But even after they're all installed and aligned, they still look crooked when viewed from the side. It's a little thing that takes some getting used to. What I liked is that the square base isn't just cheap flimsy plastic. It is a harder material, similar to white ceramic, which is highly prized. I love how easy it was to install. It's not much harder than screwing in a lightbulb.
