Good for what it is but not a miracle cure

I'll start this review by hating showers (we have 3 of them in the house). I tried this brush hoping it would make the job easier. It's okay for what it is, but it's best to manage your expectations when adding it to your cart. I didn't notice the pictures when looking at the product page). Basically, this thing works like an electric toothbrush. if there is too much pressure it will get stuck, if there is too little pressure the tip simply slides over the entire surface. It takes a little practice and physical effort to find the middle ground, how to hold it. I used it on a vertical shower surface so maybe it would be easier on the floor but wow using it on the floor would take a while. Secondly, since the weight of the tool is mainly responsible for the friction of the surface to be cleaned, the effectiveness depends on the cleaner used. For example I used it to clean a baby shower (the boys are 11 and 15 and they are dirty animals) that probably hasn't been cleaned since Covid started. Using just water did little. Using a non-abrasive, eco-friendly cleaner was fine, but using a bleach-based cleaner allowed the brush to really remove some dirt. Which in this situation leads to an obvious problem with any power tool. Using a brush that spins at 300+ RPM will result in spatter all over the place. In my situation, a bit of bleach here and there in a baby bath probably won't hurt, but it can definitely make a mess with water/cleaner splashing while spinning. The baby shower is white so my photos don't show what it used to be anymore. / after the difference (that's why I didn't post it) but I used an LED work light to check the surfaces and the shower was noticeably cleaner. The photos I posted are of the door - the 'clean' picture is the result after 2 passes with first water and then an eco-friendly cleaner. It looks a little clearer in the picture than it really is, but you can definitely see the difference. Finally, does it eliminate the "work" of cleaning? In my test usage no. Granted, I didn't bend over and get in the shower to clean, but keeping the tool steady so it doesn't roll around takes some effort, and it's certainly heavier than a manual cleaning brush. I was definitely not as happy with the cleaning as it looks in the product description photos, but the results of my efforts are good. magically make cleaning easier or more enjoyable.
