Review on Allen Sports Deluxe 4 Bike Trunk by Dale Toth

I drive an Acura MDX and as this bike rack was recommended by Revain I decided to give it a try. I read the instructions, it says it can be used with SUVs, there's even a picture of an SUV. However, like most luxury SUVs, the top hooks on the MDX can only be hooked onto the rear spoiler. This bike rack lasted long enough to get my bikes to their destination, but it blew the rear spoiler off completely. I had to go to the body shop and put the spoiler back on, which cost a lot of money. Since I then had no choice but to leave the bikes there, I had to use the same bike rack to pick up the bikes. Yes, it worked again. Another trip to the body shop. I have no doubt that this bike rack will work on many sedans or cars without a rear spoiler, but almost every SUV I've seen has them. This bike rack will wreak havoc on your car! Stay away! (see attached photos!)
