PRO: Although the packaging says this rack will NOT fit my 2015 Honda CR-V, it does. Nice bike rack, no bike safety issues on the highway. CONS: Be aware that the clips that attach the carrier to your car are metal and can scratch the paintwork. HOWEVER, I solved this problem by purchasing a can of Plasti Dip Multipurpose Rubber Coating at my local hardware store. Several sprays per clip and the necessary drying time - no problem!

I was very nervous riding this on my fully loaded Mazda 3 with four bikes. I was afraid to over tighten the straps for fear they would snap. When driving, I was afraid that the trunk would tip over to the side due to the weight of the bikes. yes it will fit honda crv ex 2014 although amazon says it doesn't. However, the Honda CRV was included on the list of automakers with which the trunk is compatible. We managed to mount 4 bikes on it. 2 bicycles for adults and 2 bicycles for children (24 and 26 years). I can see it can be even more difficult with smaller bikes. Job done! I only drove 230 km. At times my speed was 80+ miles per hour. The bikes were left behind. My car was not damaged. The bikes were quite large but the fit was perfect! I drive an Acura MDX and as this bike rack was recommended by Revain I decided to give it a try. I read the instructions, it says it can be used with SUVs, there's even a picture of an SUV. However, like most luxury SUVs, the top hooks on the MDX can only be hooked onto the rear spoiler. At first this thing was too hopeful. Says 4 bikes, bike rack. Not as much. Tested this thing around town and seemed to hold up well over bumps and what not. Decided to make the mistake of taking it fully loaded again in Idaho. Failed miserably!
