Took care of what the other couldn't!
After a week of frozen pipes with a heated pipe tape that was 'working', but couldn't keep up with the artic blast (10 degrees), I had running water again only 3 hours after applying this heat tape! The current temps are -10 to -30s BEFORE wind chill and I still have running water!Just as easy to install as any other heat tape. Can be covered with insulation, wrapped back on itself, and self regulates the temperature. I may no longer have frozen pipes each year!
- Easy to instal and seems to heat real well . Just plug in and run the wire and call it a day.
- The product may be more suitable for smaller pipes, making it less practical for larger pipe systems
