Doesn't get very hot
This stone doesn't emit much heat but helps create a microclimate. I use it in an 8' x 3' enclosure along with other heat sources for my boa constrictor. I wouldn't even consider using this alone unless you're hosting something that can live in 60-75 degree (F) climates and just enjoys a few warmer spots.
