Review on 🐠 bedee Aquarium Air Pump: Silent & Efficient Oxygen Pump for 1-15 Gallon Fish Tanks with Air Stone & Silicone Tube by Richard Messar

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not very quiet/quiet. Read the reviews saying it's the first.

Used for : Top Fin Escape 5 Gallon Freshwater Aquarium __ Noise level is not as advertised (other reviews here said it was quiet so be careful). It's louder than my tank filter. I used these reviews to make my decision after comparing similar products and comments. I might just have supersonic hearing. If it does, or if you hear faint noises over time, don't accept it.__ There's no way to turn it off. Tons of bubbles and powerful suction. You'll hear bubbles/water moving up to 10 feet away (which isn't bad, it's reassuring if it weren't for the noise level of the engine). But it's like a bottle rocket and the bubbles go fast. My guppies swim in it and fly around the tank like it's some kind of amusement park ride. Shortening the hose will not change the output/number of bubbles.__Think about where it will be on/next to your tank. It's heavy and can't hang from the pipe as the end of the vent will just pull out of the tank if you don't secure it. The tube doesn't hang perfectly vertical, it looks bent if you don't weight the stone end. The instructions say it should be above the water level. No check valve is supplied - the instructions say you need to get one if you can't keep the motor above the water level (prevents backflow of water). My tank has no way to buckle a holster. The holster needs something thick to secure, meaning it's not tight enough to secure drapes or flimsy wires. Maybe get a suction cup to attach it to your back. It will rattle and vibrate on any hard surface it comes in contact with.__ The shape of the plug is asymmetrical, pushing against all others when using a power strip or power adapter.

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
