Review on Kenwood 500W Dual Performance Standard Series Car Amplifier with Gravity Magnet Phone Holder Bundle: A Powerful Stereo Power Solution by Michael Schwegman

Using this as part of a complete JL audio system in my 2010 Kia Soul. This is the only non-JL audio I use on my system. It's a nice and small size and the price is what you get. I have it with rear door speakers and it sounds really good with JL speakers. Overall I'm happy, but I hate that amp manufacturers still use those stupid little barrier strips with tiny screws to hold the wires in place. I dropped one of these and of course I had a lot of trouble finding the small spare screw and small tabs that actually fit between the barriers. I know they still use them in their cheapest amps, but I wish they could find a better way to secure wires. The JL amp uses a set screw connector, which provides enough space for the cable and is tidier overall because there is no need to add a connector to the cable. Overall good value for money.
