Rugged Gaming Processor 10/10

- great gaming CPU - smoother framerates thanks to my old Haswell 4690k, minimums improved by 0.1%. with LLC on High (BF1, Pubg, GTA 5 Ghost Recon Wildlands, World War Z, Division 2, Ring of Elysium and Witcher 3) - Temps @ 4.3 very steep, 40-50s games, low 60 peak load -x/@ 5GHz 50's -60's gaming with peaks in 70's, peak load in 80's and above depends on ambient temperature, I live in the Southwest (temperature will be a bit higher when playing at 240Hz frequency, no more than 5- 10 degrees ) - IHS TIM is the obvious reason for higher temps when overclocking, silicon lottery offers this for $40 for those who overclock extremely - I recommend a good air cooler if not using high quality paste - I would steer clear of multi -Leave core enhancement setting in bios, it sets core voltage to 1.33 @ 4.7 on Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 5, manual overclocking is better overall: 10/10 would be highly recommended if you are running a 7th gen i5 or below go, previous owner i7 (4-core 8-thread) to sandbridge can't notice the difference in games at 1080 60fps, but 144hz-240hz need such a powerful cpu i7 8700k @ 4.7 with h100i PRO RGBMsi 2070 games @ 1950mhz gigabytes Aorus games 5 z37016gb gskill @ 3200512 ssd PNYCorsair rm 850x Gold PSUThermaltake v7
