Review on 🐺 Husky 32218 Center Line TS: Spring Bars, 800-1,200 lb. Tongue Weight Capacity by Richard Puckett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent sway control

I am towing a 7200lb 32ft TT on a 2015 Ford Expedition EL with the HD tow kit and the Husky Center Line TS makes towing easier. Setup wasn't difficult, took less than an hour, lined up the TT and TV perfectly. Then, on my first drive into Colorado on I25, I kept waiting for the semi-truck to pass me, but it never happened. It felt like I had been passed without a TT behind me, in fact without the TT in my mirrors I wouldn't know it was there, I could relax and just drive. I could cruise at 75mph with no issues except for crazy low mileage at that speed. I had no complaints while driving, and the Expedition's built-in sway control never had to be engaged. I used to haul with a chain and bar, WDH style, with a day/night difference. For the price, I find the Husky Center TS line unbeatable. I will update as things change over time. 18 months later the Husky centerline is still running great, I was caught in gusts of up to 70mph and the wind was squeezing the TV and trailer (still clearly slowing down). was rubbing very hard on the head assembly see pic while backing up tight campgrounds so I started pulling the bars out before maneuvering my property and this seems to reduce the friction (most friction comes from the steep climb and the turn at the same time). Works great, never wobbles when trailers pass by on the road, normally keeps speed at 70 when road conditions are right. Update 2 1/2 years later I experienced severe wobble while traveling in southern Colorado. When I stopped and checked, the passenger side cylinder head bolt was so loose that it moved freely without pressure. I had the tools, so I tightened the bolt and continued my ride with no further problems. Make sure the head assembly is properly tightened to avoid the problems I encountered. I've towed over 5,000 miles with the husky centerline now, but didn't like the sway caused by the wind, passing trucks, etc. when the bolt came loose.
