Review on ๐Ÿพ Sherpa on Wheels Pet Carrier: Convenient Black Rolling Bag for Pet Transportation by Rebecca Carey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No problems with Frontier Airlines and especially with my dog.

I bought this for my Cavalier Spaniel King Charles. He is 19 pounds. and stands 14 inches from floor to shoulder. He seemed comfortable with it. He didn't make a single sound. We practiced at home. I kept him in the wheelchair for as long as he would be in it during our trip. At home and at the airport I unzipped it a bit and folded it back. He sat as he pleased and then snuggled up to himself. After our first practice, he didn't try to jump out. I was concerned that the stroller was so short but he rolled over in it quite easily. The recessed wheels helped it fit under the seat. The backing didn't need to be crushed at all. I sat by the window. Although the room was narrower due to the plane's curvature, it fit in width. The length didn't quite fit, but nothing was said at all. I was not disturbed during check-in or during the flight. I'm glad this carrier has a soft strap. I tried a metal handle at home and it was much more uncomfortable. I was able to go from using a pull strap to straps on top to lift it without difficulty. In addition, this case moved very smoothly and made good tight turns. The suitcase never felt like it was about to tip over. I think that's because the wheels are recessed. I am very happy and realized that I was worried about my dog and the airport for no reason. I learned to get him to lie down by putting a treat inside him. Then I could buckle it up. Another thing that helped was that I just left it out the front of the box. Not exaggerated. I think that's why he didn't try to come down from above.

Pros
  • The backpack is designed for safe and comfortable travel; Pet has no extra room to move, stand or sit with hood closed
Cons
  • Long delivery time
