My daughter is loving these. We haven't used them as actual timers yet, but she's using them for sensory. She likes watching the sand go down, it's nice and calming. She likes that there are 2 different kinds (3 min and 10 min) and "races" them. I do plan on having her hold them when she needs to calm down for a certain amount of time though. I also use these in the classroom for when more than one child wants to play with something, it helps teach them patience.
