I bought this heater in November 2020 to cool my home office. It worked well. I like that it's easy to use, heats up quickly, and has the ability to vibrate, spreading heat throughout the office. Started smelling a little about 2 weeks ago. It got worse and worse, until today it smelled like electric fire. I looked closely to see that the floor of the unit was burned and the low-pile carpet in my office had burn marks that ruined the $400 carpet. It has a safety feature that disables it if it's moved or knocked over, but doesn't disable it if the device starts to overheat. I wouldn't recommend this device at all, but if you already have one, don't leave it in the room.
