Review on TUP The Urban Port SH 8764 36-Inch Teak Wood Ship Wheel with Brass Inset and Eight Spokes - Brown/Gold by Angelo Forrest

The product came in a box with punched holes in the box where all the spokes were. Luckily none of the handles were broken. The wheel itself has a high proportion of loose connections, while the wood is worn and chipped where the spokes enter the hub. The hub is so loose that it moves an inch or two perpendicular to the wheel. The finish is full of clumps of excess polish and a lot of rough spots. I'm going to take it apart and rebuild it hoping I can make it strong enough to hang horizontally. A kit with raw wood and parts would have saved me the trouble of taking it apart and removing the moldings before restoring and refinishing.
