The aluminum is too thin to be used off the tee with hard balls. Maybe only good for soft throwing balls.
The bat is definitely light and perfect for my 9 year old but the aluminum quality is so thin that I know 100% that it can only be used with plastic softballs. If you are looking for something that can be used with traditional hard balls, this is definitely not for you. Hard balls will crush this racquet. I'm sending it back without even removing the plastic because you can hear how thin the aluminum is. It's thinner than a soccer bat.
