Review on Enhance Fire Safety with Flamecheck M-111PA 'Class A' Fire Retardant Paint Additive (8oz to 1 gallon) by Aaron Cruz

I went to a popular paint shop for advice on how to protect the wall in my TV room which has heaters under the windows. Her instructions were to completely sand off the existing paint and repair any damage before applying a new coat. I mixed this product (flame retardant) with less than 1 gallon of Sherwin Williams Flat Paint. The product made the color semi-gloss rather than matte and slightly darker in color which is not noticeable unless you compare it to another unfinished wall. For best results it is important to apply two coats, preferably on the same day and you should paint the entire wall for best results and for the product to do its job. I hope I'll never know if this product works, but it puts my mind at ease when running heated wall units.
