I would give the machine a solid 4 stars but I just noticed that the battery compartment has no springs to turn the battery on. I have always used a cable for charging but my son likes to play with cables so I thought the battery option would be better as he is 1 year old now. It's annoying to find out that I can't use this option due to an incorrect build from a manufacturer. I want to replace the car so I have a battery powered option. Otherwise my son loves the car. It was very nice to be able to play music from the phone. It was hard to figure out how to play music from my phone but once I figure it out my son enjoys listening to Baby Shark. The preinstalled nursery rhymes sound very scary. She sounds dark and sings pitifully. The wheel assembly instructions were tricky but I'm glad I figured it out and things got easy after that. The handles made it so easy to push without fear of falling. I want the foot pedals to stay out and not come back as easily because my son's feet are dragging on the floor. The size is perfect for him. Now he's trying to push himself. He likes to spin the wheels and just sit on them and watch TV.
