Review on 🪄 MG Chemicals 425-NS #3 No Clean Super Wick Desoldering Braid, 0.075" x 5', Green by David Monaco

Mmmmm, not too keen on this one. Whatever flux base they put on this braid, it's useless. I have to apply my own aldehyde flux so it absorbs effectively. Strangely, my roll was also 10-12% shorter! I thought it looked easy so I pulled out the whole spool and measured it, I was only around 36-37 feet! WTF? It wasn't even in the opened package! In each case the actual weave is correct, the brass is correct and the storage is acceptable. It's a bit big for what you get, but it works well. I usually buy a ton from MG Chemicals and expect (and usually get) quality from them every time, so what's up? Lack of length is a bigger problem than flux additives. I will write to the seller or maybe the company.
