Not ideal for 2019 CX-5. The rubberized matte material flexes slightly along the tabs that snap into "pockets" on either side of the loading port. It appears that the mat was designed to add extra flexibility to the cargo area floor that this particular model doesn't have. This imperfection annoyed me at first, but the warping wasn't bad enough to return the mat and it's so slight that I don't notice it in everyday use, so overall I'm happy. I highly recommend cargo liners in general, it's nice to be able to easily wipe or wash away mystery stains (and associated odors) that would otherwise seep into the carpet and crevices underneath.
