This dress is really beautiful but still appropriate for a young girl's age. I'm so glad I chose this option instead of another dress I was considering. I really like it better than in the picture. I really like that gold is not a sparkle that is erased everywhere, but a golden thread. I'm a size 9 for my just turned 8 year old and I'm so sorry I didn't get a size up. My daughter is tall for her age but rather thin. The dress ONLY fits her, but she won't be able to wear it for long! The flower is removable, but probably only for washing because without the flower you can see a round metal clasp. This is a beautiful dress!
