I bought these earplugs because water in my ears can cause dizziness. When I go to my hairdresser and lean back in the sink, she always splashes water right in my ears. I wanted Mac's earbuds but they didn't arrive on time so I bought them. The earbuds come in a small case which is nice and they looked like they would fit my needs perfectly. However, my ear canals are small and it hurts a bit to put them in and out. Some water seeped in, but they successfully repelled most of the water that got into my ears. I have Mack's earbuds now and will be using them when I come back in three weeks to mark the highlights. They are more flexible and better suited to my channels. But without a doubt, Speedos are good too. If you have medium ear canals, they form a good seal and keep water out. You can still hear it, but in my case, since I already have hearing loss, it's pretty muffled. Decent price, decent headphones.
