I am using seven of these G40 LED strings to decorate the roofline of my house for Christmas. Previously used traditional G40 glass string lights for the last 6 years; Power consumption and outages have always been a problem. I was afraid to spend that much on Christmas garlands but I have to say this product is worth every penny. The lighting is fantastic and the warm tone matches my previous gear perfectly; a must for my wife. Speaking of durability, these lamps are packaged fantastically and as you can imagine I often have to knock them off the roof when installing them. Although they look exactly like glass, they are MUCH STRONGER. I didn't test beyond a normal install, but I can assure you I hit them hard enough to break the glass easily and they took it without incident. I haven't done a power consumption test yet but plan to do so soon and will update you on the details. I'm really 100% satisfied with this product and I think it's worth the investment.
