Review on 🖨️ Nema17 Bipolar Stepper Printer by Twotrees by Hayden Hart

I purchased this to replace the larger standard extruder motor on my MP Makes Select Plus as part of an upgrade from the standard extruder to a dual drive extruder. The smaller motor allowed the printer's full range of motion in the x-axis (the stock motor would hit the frame unless the x-dimensions were reduced in fw/slicer). It has enough torque to drive a geared extruder without missing a step, and it stays pretty cool. As a bonus, the smaller motor has greatly reduced the weight of the direct drive/hot-end assembly, allowing me to print faster and with higher quality than the default setting. I currently have a few hundred hours of prints on the motor and it's still working great.
