I bought this for the mic I bought. The sound adapter that came with the mic was producing this high pitched sound when I tried to record audio with the mic. I've searched the internet for a solution to my problem, but no matter where I've searched, no one has found the answer to my problem. I was concerned that I wasted money on a non-working microphone, but I decided to replace the audio adapter. I chose this product for its price, simplicity and functionality. I have no complaints about this sound card, it completely solved my problem and keeps the high quality of sound recording that I want. I hope everyone else who has had this problem with their sound adapter sees this review. Any HIGH FREQUENCY coming from your recordings can be solved by replacing your current audio adapter with this one! Great product, good price.
