Works to use headphones with 3.5mm jack to chat on PS3.

It works, but it doesn't work even though it's not the adapter. As it turns out, you don't get game sound or chat functionality with the Sony PS3, even with this adapter. What it does is allow you to plug PC-disconnected 3.5mm jack headphones into the PS3's USB port. The microphone part works and allows you to chat, but to get in-game sound you need to run the PS component cable audio output leads to the TV and get other adapters to get in-game sound. A mess, that's what it will be. Luckilyโ€ฆ

Inexpensive but gets the job done

Sounds great and works, but is flimsy and clunky. The shell around the thing itself broke after a few weeks. I had to wrap the faucet around it and it was fine.

Solved my problem with high frequency

I bought this for the mic I bought. The sound adapter that came with the mic was producing this high pitched sound when I tried to record audio with the mic. I've searched the internet for a solution to my problem, but no matter where I've searched, no one has found the answer to my problem. I was concerned that I wasted money on a non-working microphone, but I decided to replace the audio adapter. I chose this product for its price, simplicity and functionality. I have no complaints about this

Best Deal on Computers and Accessories

Does exactly what I need. This is a no-frills stereo driver that plugs directly into the USB port. No drivers are required, it just shows up as an available audio device. Cheap. Why spend more?

So the PCB case is VERY thick.

so the PCB cover is VERY thick, it fits in an open ended USB stick and nothing covers it. IT IS NOT PS4 COMPATIBLE IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO VOID YOUR WARRANTY
