Just put them (well, one) on my black Q50S. I am very happy with them. One of the frames has small defects in the form of two tiny raised bubbles, maybe 2mm in diameter. It's noticeable if you look closely, but almost imperceptible when you stand a few feet from the car. The other frame was flawless at all. Since I only use the backplate (until CHP yells at me), I went with the latter with no flaws. The color is very close to the obsidian color. While the license plate frames don't stand out or blend into the bodywork, they do a great job of smoothing out the edges and corners of the license plate, giving it a sleeker look. A small nuance - washers are made of softer plastic. It wasn't easy to tighten the bolts and keep the washers centered. Hardly a big deal, I just had to use my free hand to center the washers while tightening the bolts. In addition, the pair of screw caps had a small additional plastic tab that was stamped from the sheet metal used in production. Again, no big deal. Overall I am very satisfied, especially for the price. Let's see how they will behave in SoCal UV in the summer.
