Depending on your power supply model, you may need to grab a soldering iron and get to work. I bought these to replace a noisy EVGA 500W BR fan but had to use a soldering iron to complete the replacement, the connector on the EVGA doesn't match what you get in the box if you have it on hand, it takes about 10 minutes max. The fan is quiet and starts up with little effort most of the time, I've tried using a regular case fan in the past but it wouldn't spin on startup due to this requirement. I would recommend it to people who have a bit more technical skills.
