I didn't read the information carefully because I wasn't expecting plastic shelves. But it's been working fine for a few weeks. One problem I've noticed is that the little lids you put on top to cover the holes in the plastic where you place the parts don't stay in place and tend to fall out. The glue will probably fix it though, so I'm not worried. In general it does its job so I'm satisfied. In addition, the design was incredibly simple. You just need a little skill to slide the pieces together.
