I will not be buying this product again as it leaves a film on my new solid wood coffee tables and coffee tables. I sprayed a small amount of product onto a soft cloth and then wiped the tables with it. At first I thought I was using too much product. Had to wipe several times with a cotton cloth to remove the product. I've used it 3 or 4 times on the same tables. Even with a small amount and a good rub/buff with a cotton cloth, I can see my cat's marks on the table the next day due to product residue! He looks fat. The smell is pleasant, not overpowering. And I'm usually sensitive to that. In a good way I've used this on antique very dry furniture and it's been great! The item is made of veneer and is very dry. This product was great at adding moisture and darkening dry wood! I will continue to use this product on old dry or untreated wood, not treated modern wood. You just have a mess that is difficult to remove. I can't find a product that actually works on my new desks.
