The sound quality is excellent. I wear it on a string when I go to the "secret shop". This is very helpful when my reports require accurate landlord greetings or required time in the restaurant at different meal times. The only downside is that you can't just listen to your recording until you return to your computer or USB port. It records in .wav format and since I use Google Drive a lot I need to convert the file to .mp3. In the $20 range, this is also a great buy. A light flickers on one side during recording, but if you put that side against your body, no one will see it.
