Doesn't work at all on a table with a smaller edge

The good: The plate is very easy to attach to the monitor and then slide onto the stand. Washers are included, the instructions are fairly straightforward, and little or no assembly is required. The clamp has a tension rod, which is great because it works in tight spaces. The Bad: The clamp itself isn't designed to work on the edge of a table; You need a table edge. The clamp has nothing on top of the table to stabilize the clamp and there is no foam padding to protect your table and minimize wobble. Also, the arm wasn't strong enough to support the weight of my 24 inch monitor. After I attached my monitor, the whole thing first sagged and then slid off the edge of the table. I had to buy another one that is much stronger and more stable.
