The part of the seat that should be lowered in front of the gap between the toilet seat and the toilet is not long enough. So my son's urine gets into the gap and eventually drips onto the front of the toilet and spreads across the floor. I had to fold an old diaper and place it between the seat and the bowl to keep urine from leaking while using this seat. The seat itself is comfortable and easy to assemble, ideal for potty training girls as they don't urinate outside.
