Review on Enhance Fuel System Efficiency with TOPSCOPE FP382157-12V In Tank Universal Electric Fuel Pump Installation Kit and Strainer by Rushabh Gonsales

Purchased to replace FP on a 2000 Ford F-150 4.6L V8 4x4 with 200,000 miles. Advantages: * OEM connector plugs directly into FP; no splicing required (but includes a 4" length OEM connector) * FP works! molded tabs on the end of the pump causing the two pieces to not fit together exactly. It probably doesn't matter, but compared to an OEM pump and matching sleeve, it doesn't seem ideal. * The filter (2 alternatives included) snaps onto the FP with the pin on the FP protruding through the slot on the filter. The kit includes a very small compression ring (?) that looks like it should fit over the pin to hold the filter in place, but didn't have enough room for a tool or long enough pin. So after 3 failed attempts I just threw away the locking ring. Let's see if the filter stays on. My biggest problem was connecting the supplied fuel hose to the hose on the FP assembly; I tried oiling it but it still took a lot of effort to put it on. In hindsight, I would have tried stretching that end of the hose before assembly.
