Beautiful and practical for strong dogs

Received promptly from seller. The 12 inch leash is perfect for my needs, it's strong, durable and reflective. I wasn't sure if my Large German Shepherd Dog would respect the limit the leash gives, but so far I haven't had any issues. I live in a cold, snowy state in winter. In front of the leash, so as not to pull the dog out, I hung an extremely strong cable around the bottom of the oil tank on the tailgate; So inside I could just put the leash on her collar, just open the back door and let her go. That worked great for a few years. Until she saw a squirrel a few months ago, the old hunting instinct got the better of her. She sped after the squirrel at full speed, almost flexing her metal leg at the oil tank! She ended up doing somersaults at the end of the pegging line. Even the heavy duty metal bull moor clip/D-clip reinforcement on her neck collar broke. Stupid girl. broke the line clip (never knew heavy metal can break!) and the oil tank. but not the neck! Her name is Grace. But she is not very graceful despite her excellent professional/expensive obedience training. :o Long story short: this leash can respect her and stick to the limits (probably because she knows I'm on the other end) but is also strong enough if I need to pull her home for some reason . or a security issue. The nice thing is that the leash is long enough for me to stay home and stick my hand out the door in inclement weather while she goes about her business. I might even order another one that's longer so she can go out and play on the big snowdrifts I'm sure are to come! It's a pity that I haven't known these training lines for a long time. Thank you for a good and safe product.
